I was reading today in Proverbs and came across chapter 31 in the Bible (Message translation) about a good wife. Wow this woman being written about could definitely sing the song, I’m every woman, it’s all in me Anything you want done, baby I’ll do it naturally. She
takes care of her man and her home.
My wife Kasha is not perfect and she has had to grow in a lot of areas of her life. Haven’t we all. But I can say that she is every woman that I dream of and that she is such and incredible mother, wife and friend. She has always tried to better herself and be that Proverbs 31 wife.
I cannot imagine not trusting her. She has always been upfront and truthful she puts others before herself. I value her more than any precious diamond or riches this world has to offer. I wish that I could do so much more for her. She deserves the best and I know that I can only try to be the husband that she has always been looking for. I am simply thankful that God has placed her in my life. I am so glad that we get to grow old together laughing and enjoying each other along the way. I love spending time with her. I can’t believe she is 31 years old, it seems like yesterday when I laid eyes on her for the first time as the racks of shoes were falling down around me. (If you haven’t read heard that story ask me sometime, funny) She is even more beautiful now then she was then, and I am not just referring to the outside but her inner beauty is unbelievable. Her Outside is mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm so Good! The inner beauty is shown in the way she cares for our kids, how she prays for them day in and day out. How she keeps an incredible house that I can come home to as a sanctuary of rest and comfort. How she is caring for the people of Journey and this community and wants God’s blessing upon them and their families. She is patient with me and all of my issues and forgetfulness.
One last thing, my wife has always been very good looking, but one thing I love so much about her is that she never has seen herself as better than others. You never have to worry about her looking down at you or her thinking she is better than you. When I first meet her everyone that knew her said that she is so pretty but doesn’t walk around flaunting it. After spending 11 incredible years with her I can say it still rings true.
So Happy Birthday to one of the most amazing women I have ever meet. I love you so much and I am so happy to be your husband and I want the world to know.
