I can’t wait, in less than 34 hours God is going to do something amazing at Journey. How do you know Pastor Brian you may be thinking? Good Question, well I was reading my bible and it says that God is the same yesterday today and forever. Plus I know what he has been speaking to my heart and telling me in prayer. But not only I others have come forward and said God is telling me the same thing. People are praying and fasting. The ingredients are there God, Prayer, Fasting, Hunger the only thing missing is Expectancy. But you and I are bringing that
Some Thoughts to think about.
- The same miracles that we read about in the bible are going to take place on Sunday. Healings still happen today.
- The same spirit that David experienced as he danced before the Lord is going to happen.
- The same presence that Moses got to feel the tail end of is possible on Sunday.
- The same forgiveness that a thief experienced as he hung on a cross next to Christ is going to be given and received.
Why are certain places experiencing God in incredible ways and others are not. Could it be that people come expecting? That they are hungry to see God move and excited about what he is going to do that Sunday. If God is the same yesterday, today and forever that means that Gods presence is still available. The difference I believe is what are you expecting.
- Do you expect to see people healed?
- Do you expect to see people set free?
- Do you expect to encounter God through worship deeper and more intimately than ever before?
I do and so do many others, this expectancy is going to change this church and community. When you expect something you pray about it, you plan for it, you allow it to happen. We have been praying and fasting and the time is now. So hold on because God is getting ready to do something amazing and this week is only the beginning.
Come hungry for God and watch what he is going to do. I love this song listen to it and let it be your hearts cry.
