God is so amazing. Now I know that you probably already knew that but I have got to let it be known. Yesterdays service goes in the top ten of services I have been privileged to be a part of. God’s presence was so thick you could feel it all around. I know that people were healed and set free from addictions and struggles. I know that people were filled with the Holy Ghost. I want to say thank you God for loving us and pouring out your spirit upon us. We love you God and are amazed at what you are doing. May we be vessels to be poured out on our community to show your love?
I want this post to be all about what God did yesterday in the service and what he is doing in your life now so if He did something amazing in your life then leave a comment talking about it. I can’t wait to read all of them. Let speak of how Great Our God is.
Here is a run own of the service, (Unfortuntely there was not a recording of the service because there really was no sermon delivered)
The worship set was coming to an end, as I was standing thier in Gods presence there was overwhelming sense of the grace of God, as I came up on the stage I knew it was going to be different, I said lets sing it again, and so we continued it was so powerfully in this version (Chris Tomlin Found Here) it says My Chains are Gone i’ve been set free. You could free people being set free. The song came to an end and I felt lead to give an altar call, I shared about coming into a relationship with Christ. I talked about an apple and how I could tell you all day long how good the apple was but until you tasted it you wouldn’t know. I said we are going to pray and if you have never had a relationship with Christ come down front and I want to pray with you. We stood there worshipping and no one came down at first then after I had closed my eyes for a moment when I opened them there was a woman standing up crying with her family gathered around her and supporting her. Praise God I still felt there were more, I prayed again and then I looked up and a man was standing up front with family and friends all around him. it was so powerful I lead them in the sinners prayer and through many tears and joy they came into a relationship with Christ. But God wasn’t done yet. I turned to Carl and said I don’t know what to do keep on worshiping he played amazing grace again.
We were all on cload nine by this point, people were worshipping God with everything they had. Hands were being raised and people were experienceing Gods presence. As i was standing on the side I felt God say last week you intorduced the congegation to the Holy Spiirt this week they are going to experience him. I then started to read from Acts 2 as I felt God leading me and I said this week you are going to experience the Holy Spirit if you want, come down to the altars and seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit come and see what the apple (Holy Spirit) tastes like.
People flooded the altars, people got filled with the baptsim of the Holy Spirit with the evedence of speaking in tongues, some got healed, others got slain in the Holy Spirit (overwhelmed by the presence of God to where you colaspe in his presence) it was all out people worshipping God with everything they had. The worship team started playing “We are Hungry” it was so powerful. People were seeking God like I have never seen in our church. It was life changing and I can’t wait to see what God is going to do this coming Sunday.

Absolutely agree that Sunday was unforgettable. It blows my mind how every single week turns into a stepping stone for what God is doing in this body of believers.
The most obvious thing for me that God did for myself on Sunday was that he provided a confidence in him with playing my instrument. Sometimes it seems like a contradiction to say that being a conduit to leading worship should not produce confidence in one’s abilities but there is an authority over the instrument that God provides when a musician gets out of the way of what God is trying to do with a person playing music for/to him.
It is completely remarkable how the service flowed with a vast majority of it being on the fly (speaking from the band perspective) but yet how it felt completely orchestrated the whole time. The band was on the same page the whole service. A perfect example of how the Holy Spirit envelopes each of us and yet all of us at the same time. It was exactly the lesson that you have been teaching on. The church actually experienced “the unknown” that you’ve been teaching.

For those of us who were serving in the children’s minisrty, and missed the service, our efforts are unto the Lord. I was in the nursery with Amy and Shelly. Let’s just say it was a tad wild in there. We had 16 little ones, 2 of whom were 1st time guests. We found out later that a parent of these new kids, dedicated his life to Christ that morning. Praise God! That is what it’s all about
I’m believing that the Holy Spirit will continue to overflow onto us throughout the week. Don’t worry if you were not physically in the sanctuary Sunday morning. God is faithful and will provide everything we need. Thank you Pastor Brian and worship team for being obedient to what the Lord had planned.

What an amazing day. I love to see God working through people I love. I was so blessed just to be there. I could live in His presence. Every time I think I have reached a new level of intimacy with God, He takes me deeper. What an amazing journey we are on. I dont know what He’s going to do next, but I will continue to seek Him and be available to His plan.

It was very obvious that the presence and power of the Holy Spirit took the service exactly where God wanted it to go yesterday, and it didn’t stop when church was over.
I personally experienced a new level of truth and intimacy in my worship of Jesus Christ. At the same time I was perfectly aware that the entire congregation was experiencing the same Mighty Power, and that Pastor Brian followed or allowed God’s agenda as it was revealed to him and to us all.
To experience something so personal yet witness that we were all being unified and spiritually edified as one, at the same time, and by that same Holy power, was to say the least life changing!
Praise God for all He does for us! I am excited to see what He reveals to us next in this series…the Unknown. It’s like God is saying “get ready”!

What a service! It’s so exciting to see what God is doing at Journey Church. A big thank you to Pastor Brian and Carl + worship team for flowing in God’s anointing. It’s moments like Sunday that changes lives forever. I know that my passion for God, and spending more time in prayer, and reading the Bible is at an all-time high. It’s amazing to see the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Journey Church and can’t wait to see what’s in store for the weeks ahead.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!! I’m totally in awe of Sunday’s service. It was a true blessing from God. To me the best service so far and were just beginning, sooo excited for the next serivce because even though that was awesome, I know there is more to come!! The presence of the Holy Spirit flowing through me on Sunday was absolutely AMAZING and it makes me speechless when I think about it. God knew what I was going through that past week, and my life needed a miracle. He never lets me down, NEVER! I know no matter what, I can always rely on Him to be there for me. How wonderful is that! I was truly excited to see not just me being “filled up” but the people I love, and my family at Journey Church. What i witnessed and was a part of on Sunday I will never forget. I’m truly honored to be a part of the Journey Family! Praise God!

I’m still at a lose for words. Sunday’s service was the most amazing thing for me to be a part of. I’ve always said that God is doing amazing things through pastor Brian, and this Sunday was a prime example of that. I know for me personally, I’ve never laid hands on somebody and prayed for them. But on Sunday I felt the need to pray over somebody who needed God’s touch in their lifes. And I’ve never been the type to riase my hands when worshiping, but Sunday I felt a disire beyond anything I’ve ever felt, to reach out and touch God. I didn’t care what anyone else thought, I just wanted to reach my hands up and grab hold. I guess the only way to describe it, absolutely amazing!

Enter His courts with thanksgiving and Praise!!! It was wonderful to ENTER IN this past Sunday. For me it was renewal: I felt completely at home. I have been praying for a spiritual breakthrough at Journey and that everyone would have freedom in worship and go beyond the veil. It was so exciting to see everyone doing just that–in spirit and truth!!! The angels were there rejoicing with us. Lives were transformed, people were delivered, encouraged and empowered. There was forgiveness, restoration, healing and miracles: that is what the Holy Spirit came to do! I personally experienced deliverance, I reached a new level in my prayer language, and I travailed in the Spirit. I also fell out and I thought the lights were off, but I realized later that they had not. God came over me so powerfully–it was something that can not be put into words. I am thankful that God led my family to Journey. It is my heart’s greatest desire to be part of a church family that is Spirit-filled and obedient to the Voice of God. Such amazing power! I can’t wait to see the miracles, signs and wonders this Sunday!!! Come Holy Spirt– you are indeed welcome!
